All artwork must be entered in one of the categories listed below. The entry allows up to 4 works of art in a category or split among the 5 categories listed below. All work with your own easels or display devices must be delivered to the WW Memorial Building for placement between 8 an 9 am on Saturday July 21st.
The Judge’s Critique along with Cash and Ribbon Awards will take place on Saturday at 1:30 pm. All artwork must remain on display through July 22nd until 3:00 pm.
NOTE You may enter 1 or 2 additional works of art for a fee of $5.00 per piece. Please list additional work of art on the back of this entry form and add $5.00 fee(s) to your entry fee.

RURAL REMBRANDT ART CLUB ANNUAL SHOW AND COMPETITION RULES 2018
1. Any artist upon payment of entry fee(s) may enter the show and competition and is eligible to win an award in any category in which he/she enters, but is limited to one award per category. Four pieces may be entered by each artist and may be placed in one category or split as desired. One or two additional pieces may be entered for an additional fee(s). (see below)

2. Each artist is responsible for deciding the category in which to enter their artwork. Rural Rembrandt Art Club is not responsible for the category placement of the artwork. The show judge ultimately determines the winner of the competition in each category.

3. The show committee reserves the right to reject any work it deems unsuitable for this show.

4. All entries must be original to the artist, in content and design. No patterns or kits. No studies allowed from workshops. No prints or giclees. Use of another artist’s work may be used for this competition. See below.

5. The following examples are acceptable use of another’s work since they do not affect the actual body of the artist’s work. A. Framing and matting. B. developing photographs. C Firing of pottery and ceramics. D. Object made by another person, but entered only for the merit of the art’s work on the surface. This would include such items as slabs, tools, furniture, etc. on which the artist has painted, burned, carved or done similar original work.

6. All two-dimensional and photography must be framed and ready for hanging. (this means wire on the back)

7. The title, media, the artist’s name and phone number should be firmly attached to the back or base of each entry and out of sight.

8. All artwork must remain on exhibit Saturday July 21st thru Sunday July 22nd from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This includes any artwork that has been sold during the show.

9. Work previously winning a monetary award at a Rural Rembrandt Art Show is not acceptable as an entry for this competition.

10. Only artwork entered in this competition is available for sale. No artist will be allowed to bring additional pieces for sale.

11. No business cards, personal advertising signs of any kind will be allowed on display.

The Rural Rembrandt Art Club will not be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork. If possible, stay for the 2-day show to protect, explain or perhaps sell your work. If artwork is not picked up at 3:00 pm Sunday July 22nd, a fee will be charged of holding.
